What to include in your message
Reporting a bug
We want to fix it. To help us do that fast, include the following:
- What browser you were using (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and so on)
- What you pasted into the tool (URL, DOI or ISBN)
- What the citation came out as
- What you expected it to say instead
Screenshots are welcome but not required.
Citation style error
If a citation came out formatted wrong or missing a field, tell us:
- The DOI, ISBN or URL you used
- Which citation style you selected
- What was wrong with the output
- What the correct format should be, with a source if you have one
We take citation accuracy seriously and fix confirmed errors quickly.
Feature request
We read all of these. We do not promise timelines, but if enough people ask for something, we build it.
The most useful requests include a real use case, not just a feature name.
